Woody fishing
Green Woodpecker
(Female)
Taken on the last session at the stoney field pool the day before the rains came. They don't like that blanket weed one bit !
D200 Sigma 50-500mm
ISO 500
125th @f8
70 % of frame.
Note
Sharpened as an experiment in CZM ! Just do a stack with one picture only.
Cheers

One image stacking, whatever next?   I was looking forward to the pea-moth close up, but I suppose this'll have to do in the mean time.

I know ! - good isn't it
Its just that I never got the hang of all this high pass - low pass stuff which Roy blewitt always uses for sharpening with very good results. CZ does it for you. Great stuff. Well done! Excellent ! etc , etcCheers

Excellent shot John.

Youve got me puzzled on using CZM for sharpening John  How does that work, maybe a tutorial for us lesser mortals? :toast: :toast:

Don't take my word for it ! T his shot is not a particularly good example.
All I know is that the programme does an auto high pass/low pass jobby at the end of a stack sequence. It seems to improve the pic sharpness wise quite well. So if you do a stack with one pic it does the same thing . Try it. I will be shot down in flames but who cares ?
I like it so ---
It seems to be better than usm tp me an its automatic.
