Haven't had much time for shooting lately but did get up to Dumont Lake on Rabbit Ears Pass for an hour this morning and I'd say it's as good as I've seen it in some years, particularly for lupine and paintbrush...and should be good at least for another week. You have to work around the beetle kill trees some, but there's lots of areas to work.

Wow that's quite a difference from two weeks ago! Great color palettes in there! Thanks again for meeting up with us, Rod, we really enjoyed exploring the area!

That first one is GREAT Rod. The distant pine trees look a bit funky blue, but the foreground is really nice.

Maybe a slight bit oversaturated? But, Oh Mommy, what fields of wildflowers. Your comps and exposures are all excellent!
