Mount Evans Wilderness - Colorado

Last weekend I headed up to Mount Evans to try my luck with the sunrise. It was a beautiful morning on the mountain, but I swear I am Anti-Cloudman. I can't even seem to buy a sunrise with a few clouds in them. Crystal clear skies where I have to work to keep the color from washing out. Compared to the upper 90s down in town that weekend, it was a delightfully cool 43 degrees here this morning. I cropped this slightly to fit the Golden Ratio. Thanks for looking and commenting.

Sorry about the clouds, Doug. I must've loaned them out to someone else last weekend. Clouds or not, this shot is really nice! I love the little yellow flowers on the llc and the rocks provide a great lead-in element.

Great shot Doug. I seem to have the same problem with the clouds.

Nice work Doug. Like your composition. Vey peaceful. Who is that sleeping just to the right of the shadows on the top of the mountain?

Lack or clouds or not, the colors and tones in the water are beautiful.

And the low angle on the fg rocks gives this a great comp.

Very nice capture of sweet warm light. No worries about the clouds as this has plenty to offer.

As co-holder of the Anti-cloud person title, I sympathize...but not too much as this is still a stunner of a shot
