Hi all
Image of a chalkhill blue here taken friday evening in a brief window of calm, been after these for a couple of weeks now but their local habitat is in one of the windiest places round here, anyway there was an our window on friday evening when the wind dropped to nothing so got ot nd got this.
This is a 9 shot stack in CZM, usual set up of d300, 105mm macro 1/30th@f5.6, tripod mle. remote
All comments and critique welcome
Cracking subject and great stacking technique - nice shot.
The only minor nit might be that this version could be a touch over-sharpened - no big deal to rectify though.
I like the composition, the perch and the lovely muted background. Like Chris I too thought it oversharpened at first but having looked at it for a while longer I think it's just the lighting on that electric blue wings that makes it look that way as it seems to look ok elsewhere. Nice one.
