The Week That Was, Round 1
Here's a collection of photos from last week around Crested Butte. I might do round 2 tomorrow. I shot (and got) so many successful photos, with conditions changing by the second, that I could probably do a 10-rounder, but we'll start here.

#1: Schuylkill Mountain

#2: A tele shot of Snowmass Mountain, taken before the pano linked earlier today.

#6: A Maroon Bells duo. I got so many different looks, with the clouds breaking, thought I'd post two samples together.

#12: Success! (well, almost) Not everything is right with this one, but I did a focus stack series for when I finally install CS5.

I was trying to wait until you finished...I think you are done. Did you bring a cloud machine with you? This is a great series...you have incredible detail in all your shots!! They are all fine images!! :toast:

Jack, Jack, Jack. I'm just gettin' started! But that's all for today.

Todd, what's with all those wafting clouds blocking the landscapes?<grin> Nice series, and hope to enjoy the other 9 rounds. #4, 9, 12 for me.

Beautiful shots Todd. Great work. I love them all. If you're gonna make me choose though I love #2. Great layering.

What a collection! The shades and tones in 2 make it my fav for sure, with the flowers in 12 next.

Great images! Really like #4.

Todd, What a great series you've posted here. The lime green colors in #2 make it my ultimate favorite of these. #12 would be my second favorite. I love the color explosion it has with the blue, yellow, green and the red mountain. It has the potential to become my favorite if you could get more in the sky and lose the dirt speck. May I ask where it was taken? Paradise Divide?

You know I really think you should post your intended itinerary in advance, so we could all follow you around. You know - share!

Can't wait to see what else you will post today!

I could see #11 hanging in my home. You really were fortunate to be in the area and set up for some spectacular images.

#2 absolutely rocks!

And I'm sorry, but I don't see what's "not right" about #12??

I'm going to have to attach a GPS locater beacon under your vehicle's chassis so I'll be able to shadow you. Awesome series, but #2 really takes it to the next level, what a great sense of depth to that one.

Great collection Todd.

Love 2 and 12 but of course all are amazing. Regarding 12...did you take several exposures with different manual focus points? Trying to wrap my head around near, middle and far focus points in a single scene.
BTW, you have 5 gallons of gas for your next trip courtesy of moi...bought your 2011 wall calender :wavey:

Wow, that's a hell of a post!!! They're all sweet, but #13 is my favorite! Can't wait for round 2.

Ditto all of the accolades you're received here.
I'm especially fond of #'s 2, 10, 11 & 12. Really looking forward to Part 2!

Geez, you're killing me here! The next round will probably have me pawning all my gear in surrender!

I love #11!! #2 is beautiful as well.

#2, 7,8 and 11 would be my picks from this set. Nicely done in TC style.

Todd, I almost dread opening your posts. How can one guy come away with so many beautiful images on each trip???! I think I'm doing ok with one good image from each trip, but this many is insane!

Damn what an excellent group! Going with 5 and 13, though I wouldn't kick any of 'em outta my collection.

I'd say #12 has the best foreground. The clouds are all interesting in the other shots.
