I was up at Mt Evans again on Sunday. Thought we were supposed to have an overcast rainy day and the weather was awesome! This time I focused more on Marmots and Pika, but still managed a goat shot or two.

Marmot #2...the BG is actually the mountain range, not the sky :)

Well geeeez, doesn't he know that is fragile alpine tundra that will take years and years to regrow?
Great set, I like them all, but the third one is my favorite.

Love the picas and marmot. The blessing pic is my favorite, followed by number 3.

Great stuff, Kurt! I love the second marmot shot and the blessing shot. The goat kids one is excellent, too. (They all are, for that matter.) I've seen adult goats kicking up dirt like that a few times before. If they were on the African plain I'd say they're covering their hides to protect from biting flies, but I doubt the skeeters warranted all that mess. Your cool dirt idea is probably right on.
Like most others, I like the pikas. Especially the catch light in the first one. I hate to keep asking but would love for you guys to share some of the tech specs so us beginners and want to bes can learn from your perfection. Oh, and the blue sky behind marmot #2 is perfect!

First pika shot is really sweet. Overall a great collection.
Excellent work on all of these, but my favorites are the pika carrying his lunch and blessing his lunch. You do an outstanding job capturing the cuteness of critters.

I really like the bokeh that your lens produces in the backgrounds.
