Here are Lon and Harley, intensely working their 4x5 cameras in the high Sierra.
Lon does have some FINE legs showing with those shorts!

Too funny!
Do you think that poor mullein plant is feeling just a tad over-exposed?
It was a grand time, indeed! I had a blast; especilly when the lightning was crashing!
My film goes out for processing tomorrow morning.

I'd recognize those two "Dark Clothes" anywhere....

That's some wicked bellows extension.

I must say that is pretty comical, pasty white legs and all! My wife hates those shorts, which is why they are delegated as camping shorts now.

Yeah, at least 20" or so...
and not even close to 1:1
It remains to be seen if Harley or I got anything worthy from this little exercise of large format closeup photography. We'll soon find out.
Thanks for posting Harley - I think.

Wish I were there. How were the Lupines along Dead Man's Creek?

You guys look like some kind of weird long nosed animal trying to reach that poor little mullien plant. Too Funny!

I agree, Youssef. This is a classic example of attack by the long-nosed-hooded-mullien-muncher.

At least we're talkin' about the nose... and not some other hooded creature!
Dan, the flowers were still a bit early, but there was enough to make due... Here's a little hand held pt-n-shoot sample.

Lon, this looks really great for a grab shot out of the point & shoot. The green growth looks very refreshing over our local dry stuff down here right now.

Great legs, guys! Of course, I'm referring to the tripods.

With those long probosces, or is it probosci I wonder did the mullien have a wonderful scent? Too funny.
