I enjoyed a fantastic 9 day trip to the San Juans and the Elk Range. As usual, I made my yearly trip to the Ice Lakes Basin. I also spent 4 days in the Vestal drainage. Once the monsoon hit, I left the San Juans and made my way up to the Buckskin Pass area of the Maroon Bells Snowmass Wilderness.
My first set will be focused on the Wildflowers of both areas. I went Wide and Macro for most of the set.
Soon, I'll post a link to the mountain shots. I watched an unbelievable sunset from UN13,049, which has a very unique view of the Maroon Bells. I also shot a beautiful sunrise from the summit of Peak 3, which has the perfect view of one of Colorado's top 5 assortment of peaks- the Grenadiers, which includes Silex, Storm King, the Trinities, Vestal and Arrow Peak.
Wow, great collection of images Kane! Really well done on both the wide and macro! Love the Ice Lakes pics, the clouds rock! But I honestly think the King's Crown image is my favorite of the bunch!
Can't wait to see the rest!

"San Juan Forever #2" is really nice...
It was fun hanging out when you were here... hopefully my friends and I weren't too obnoxious.
