Linnets
A couple of Linnets...the female bird had spent a while pruning and a male bird just dropped in behind her before landing on the same small set of twigs. Cropped 30% off the shot to enhance composition.

excellent shot nice and sharp and a very good background :toast:

Great action shot. I might be tempted to cropp off the branch on the left side though. Just a thought ...

Great action. Colour palette is superb, as is the background. Might be worth toning down the end of the cut twig on the left a tad maybe? :toast:

Wonderful piece of action caught here Ian.Personally I'd like a little more of a gap between the female and the 'mush' but that's just a minor nit.

A slightly comical action shot Ian well done. I think if it was mine I would be tempted to try blurring the greenery a bit more.

That's a belter Ian. The moment has been captured really well and the pastel appearance of the colours is delightful. If it were mine I might be tempted to crop some from both sides to make a longer upright. I think there is enough room for that particularly as my eye follows the line of sight of the female upwards towards the male. But then it isn't mine .... unfortunately! Nice one.

The OOF foreground adds to the image IMHO leads your eyes to the birds which you have captured really well, beautiful image Ian   :wavey:
