Sunset light on Mt Jefferson from Jefferson Park.
Nikon D80, 12-24 Nikkor Dx. Polarizer.
3 exposure blend, 0.25, 0.5, 0.8 sec at f/16, ISO 100. 2 exposures to control the light on the mountain and 1 exposure to get the foreground flowers in focus. Blended using Lightroom 3 and CS4.
All comments and critiques are appreciated.

Beautiful work Scott! You captured that place really well. Great light control. I very much like this comp and I'm sure you tried others. I probably would have played around with positioning to get a bit more of the mountain reflected in the stream. I seems that slightly lower and to the left might have done it.
I like the comp and the light is great Scott! Wish there was a bit a more of a reflection of the mountain in the stream though. Nice foreground too.

Thanks to everyone for the comments.
Sean and Jackson - I agree with you guys about wanting more of the mountain reflection in the stream. It will be a goal of mine the next time I visit Jeff Park.
Catherine - I'm not sure what type of flowers these are. They were only growing in the water or very close to the edge. Can anyone ID these flowers?
Great picture. I like the stream leading us in, and you did wonderfully with the crazy contrast and depth of field. Are you going back this year?
I hope to go there next August/September sometime. It was on my short list before my feet and knees gave out, but now it's on my short list again...if it's the last hike my feet can stand, I'm doing it!!
I agree it is a beautiful scene and the exposure's blended really make the image. I realize it's out of your control but some nice clouds would have been nice.
