More from Long Lake last week
Here are few more from my morning with Dan Baumbach last weekend.

Paul all I can say is I am in awe of the moose, but seriously the very first two are just amazing I like #1 just a little more then #2. and #5 is also good. great shots :toast:

I like #2 the most, lush meadow and forest and the crop is unconventional.

As per usual...these images are more than up to and over the quality of your typical shots.
Awesome series!

Yeah, Paul, the moose shots are amazing! Especially the first, doop-dee-doop-dee-doooo-I'm-walkin'-down-the-trail shot. But the first and second shots -- WOW! Looks like a lake deep in the back woods of Canada, not something an hour from Denver.

You guys are really starting to irritate me. I've been trying to FIND and photograph a big bull moose for many years with zero success. Of course now that I've traded away my wildlife lens they'll probably show up everywhere I go.

Nice set Morris. #1 is epic and the moose images are (be calm Bill) great.

Morris, these are some of your better shots (that you've posted here at least) of the summer IMO. Everything is so crisp and clean and the processing looks terrific on these. Excellent work!

These are all great Morris, but I particularly like #1, #5 & #6 - the Moose (6) is really cool how you composed him in his surroundings.

#2 and the first moose shot are amazing Morris! The other ones are just damn good... sorry.

#1 is just beautiful! I love the calm, pastel colors, the reflection, the composition - well, you get the idea. #2 is just as nice; something about the composition doesn't resonate as well with me. And I really like your first moose shot - Todd summed it up perfectly. Just a moose out on a morning stroll. The rest are nice, but these really steal the show. Thanks for sharing.

I was up there yesterday morning for sunrise but didn't see any moose (DANG!!!). I love the clouds and soft light in #1. The others a great too. Thanks for sharing. :toast:

Morris, I like about everything in the processing in #1 and 2 to make these great reflection shots. (wish my processing was this good). That spit of firs with the various tones of greens is nice. Possibly consider a light crop off the bottoms of each and catching the tops of the ulc trees in 2 ?

No critters seen on the Auduban trail yesterday as well. I guess those prize moose shots of yours were a special treat. Like the first one best with the moose ambling into the frame. The grass looks a little warm compared to the second image.

I love them all, but #2 is stunning! Really great!

#1 is stunning. Just love the color.

#1 is a real stunner.

Another great series of images Morris. I like #1 ans #2 best, but I also like the moose walking along in #6. I am also very jealous! I have not been able to photograph a bull moose for 2 years now. Last year I only spotted cows and yesterday both Dan and I waited for a bull to come out from the brush for 90 minutes and he never came. Wahhh :frown:

I can only echo the others' compliments. Well done, sir!

#'s 4 & 5 don't have quite the impact on me that the rest of the series does.
