RMNP this morning
Feels like forever since I posted anything on here, not to mention been out shooting. This morning finally found the time to get out and shoot, and it felt good (not quite as good maybe as being in the San Juans shooting wildflowers  ).

So here's a few from sunrise along Trail Ridge road, not bad colour, but quite hazy to the West this morning.
Canon 5D2, 24-105

#1 This first image, for some reason I'm always drawn to this rock formation, perhaps it's a bit abstract though?.

#2 Clouds light up looking NW towards the Never Summer Mtns.

#3 Light starts to hit peaks, I do have a slightly different version with more red on the rocks, but the sky is a little less vibrant.

#4 Foreground colour, Longs Peak didn't get much colour unfortunately.

#7 Unfortunatley the breeze was too strong to use any alpine flowers effectively in compositions, but there are lots up on the Tundra right now.

That's a great series with gorgeous color. I really like #2 and #3, but they are all excellent!

Very nice color in the clouds. Like #3 with the banner fog on the distant peak and color in the clouds. No trail, or road in the image is an added bonus.

#s 4-6 get my vote...great series!

#4 and #6 are especially nice. I love the warm foreground rocks in #4 - not sure they'd have the same impact if Long's Peak was also lit up? I like the road leading away in this image as well.

And I really like the unexpected composition in #6. The kiss of light in the middle ground and on the UR foreground rocks is awesome! Good job.

Wow! You don't show any signs of rust after your 'sabbatical'.
Aside from the glorious sunrise images, I really like the colors and composition of #6.
Bet that's one of your favorites, as well.
