Little Owl
The only one I got of the bird away from the barn except the one in the tree. Can't make my mind up about including the poo and the whole hinge on the old gate post. Had terrible noise probs in the background too which has made it go a bit odd. Tried to keep the late evening effect by not brightening it too much. One of my favourites anyway. been a wonderful experience. Not seen the young for a while now. Maybe they or the adults will be back next year and we can start again !

A special series it has been.. The light looks very tricky with more on the perch and less on the bird.. Handled well John and thanks for sharing..

No need to make this "the last one - honest" as I and probably many other have enjoyed looking at them all. Another great image. I would consider a small ammount off the bottom so the crop runs just above the bottom of the hinge, and then off the left if it needs to be balanced. But another great image that many people would love to have in their collections.
Poo is good. What's the light source coming from the left? It's given the entire LHS a bit of a reddish cast to it. Otherwise all good. It's great to follow the development of the family, thanks for that John.
