Hello again all. One from my 7hr stint in the Hide on Sat. This time a young Great Spotted Woodpecker. changing from a Zoom lens to a Prime Telephoto has certainly made me think a bit more, not to mention save my camera's shutter life, lol. I was lucky to get this bird in the frame, I know it's a little tight, but I'm pleased with the position of the bird, and the sharpness, and detail. You're thoughts would be most welcome. Regards,
Paul Rosser.

A bit tight at the bottom and overall a bit big in the frame all mentioned in your descriptive text.. But I think you achieved some great detail and a nice image of a young bird..

Ps. Had one crash into my window the other day, he's doing fine now though and visits every day..

It may be a bit tight Paul but the detail is beautiful and the colour looks spot on to me

As already mentioned a tad big in the frame, but it has shown a tremendous amount of detail in the feathers.
A bit more room at the bottom to squeeze in the rest of the tail perhaps.
Great pose.
