My in-laws are visiting from Ohio and we're going to have a condo up in Breckenridge for the extended weekend. While this is mostly just a family vacation I am looking for advice on areas within a 1 hour drive to shoot. I'm mainly looking for sunrise/sunset and wildflower locations. All advice is welcome though, thanks!

Shrine Ridge if it's not past peak!

McCullough Gulch (sunrise), Blue Lake (sunrise/sunset), Mohawk Lakes (sunrise/sunset), Mayflower Gulch (sunset) are all very close to the Breck area. Wildflowers are probably past peak now but there might be a few late season stragglers at those locations.

Josh lists some great ones. I'd especially favor Mayflower Gulch (quick and easy) or the area around Fremont Pass (excluding the Climax mineworks, of course).

Boreas Pass without question, make sure you explore the area and it's off roads, it is right in Breck and goes to a living Ghost Town by the name of Como. Love Boreas, especially at sunset!
Thanks for the help guys, we had time to hike Mayflower gulch and to Continental falls. Both were beautiful locations even without a lot of wildflowers.
