Evening all,

I am new to this forum but thought I would post this to see what people think.

Mating green veined whites taken at the weekend. High f stop resultted in a rather messy background that I have tried to deal with using gausian blur. I am not entirely convinced but am interested in others thoughts.

Regards

Welcome to the Forum and an intrigueing first post, not at all what I expected when I opened it up!

I can see why you are two minded, it's a bit tight in the frame and the antennae lose impact, but other than those minor nits, well seen and captured.

It is always great to see something original, and this certainly is. I would like to see those eyes on a third (from the bottom), but otherwise I find this an interesting shot. Welcome to the forum, and let's see some more.

Great first shot Mathew loks as if it might have a slight blue cast on the Butterfly, but still a great shot.
