Adams - Takhlakh Lake
A week ago today, took a hike on Adams and then stopped at Takhlakh Lake for the sunset. During the hike, it was pretty cloudy on the mountain, with thunderstorms in nearby over the Goat Rocks. But it cleared up nicely for sunset. This is one of my favorites from the that evening.

I like this photo the use of the reflection and the image and the Depth of Field is great because I almost feel like if this image was larger I would feel like walking into it because of how realistic it looks great job :toast:

Joe, this is really good. The light and colors are nice, soft, warm. I wish the foreground grass on the right wasn't touching the mountain reflection, but that's really minor. Nicely captured.

Beautiful image Joe. Nice composition, a solid winner all around.

Thanks for the comments. I wish the reflection didn't touch the grass, but unfortunately, the shoreline would not allow such a composition.

Very nice colors and lighting Joe. The reflection on the water is amazing. I wish you could have made a comp without the grass touching the mountain, but understand this was out of your control. Still a great image though.
