It’s been a long time since I’ve done a summary of the past week but with Pat coming on board and the duties spread out some we’re going to try to resume the practice. This was an exceptional week even by the high standards we’ve come to expect on the finest Flora gallery on the planet. Leading the way was Wayne Rhodus whose Mohawk Lakes Columbines garnered the Weekly Pick. The combination of beautiful flowers and a terrific BG make this one of the nicest intimate florascapes of the year. Wayne’s Columbine Portrait was also a very strong contender.
Other notable images were posted by Gary Yeoh, Mike Gallo, Brigitte Lorenz, Kathy Odiorne, Giuseppe Guadagno, Albert Darmo, Larry Lynch and a particularly beautiful flora landscape of Iceland posted by Bob Duff. Thanks to everyone who posted and commented this week. May you be blessed with great subjects and even better light.

A nice thing to do, Bill, whenever you have time. It can be very encouraging, especially when you are new to the site, to get a mention in this way.
Great idea, Bill. And, yes! wonderful shots by all those mentioned. Nice to see some new people posting on the forum, too.

Hey Bill, thanks for the honor this week. Being selected for the Weekly Pick is especially meaningful for me since I admire and respect the work of the talented photographers who grace the Flora forum with their exceptional images.
