I would like to have some reviews and comments about this tripod :

I am thinking about changing my tripod, due to its limited minimal height, with a high column which is not reversible.
Thank you for any comment you could bring about this tripod.

I'm not familiar with the Vanguard brand at all. I would recommend that you get a tripod that is tall enough without having to raise a center column. A center column is inherently less stable than full tripod support. The higher it is extended the less stable it is.
The center hammock is a nice feature. I used to have one, a Bogen brand, fastened to my Gitzo legs. It was a nice convenience, but its steel fasteners rusted away.
Gitzo is pretty much the standard when it comes to tripods. They are made in France, which may be an advantage to you over some other brands. Have you investigated out Gitzo tripods?
