Early Morning Garden of the Gods
Hey all,

My first post here on CNP. I've been trying to do more landscape photography and took a trip down to GOG a few weeks ago for sunrise. This is one of my favorites (I think because I wasn't rushing around like an idiot).

Comments, Critiques and Suggestions always greatly appreciated.


Canon 20D, 28-135mm @ 40mm, f/29 @ 87 sec.
Cloned out radio towers in background and handicap parking sign in foreground.

Very interesting I must say!

Think about hopping out on the 25th, I have been getting emails from those looking to meet me down there to find the Hots spots in the Garden.!

I wish I could have gotten some interesting clouds to fly by during the exposure. I do like the expanse of deep blue.

I think it might also benifit from a crop on the left side to hide the little peak of light I'm getting from the partially hidden doorway.

After 1.5 hours on the road and 3 cups of coffee this was certainly a wonderful sight. :wink:
