Following on from Doug's post, here is Longs a week later (aka yesterday morning). Doug certainly had calmer conditions that Steven P & I, wind was relentless and not good for shooting flowers. Here is my take on the Lake anyway.

I like 'em in the order you posted. The first one most definitely keeps my interest throughout the frame. Nice set.

Just like Jeff, I also like them in the order you posted them Nick. Great job on this set!

A beautiful spot. The first is my favorite as well.

Nice set, Nick. It appears Long Lake is becoming the poor man's Lake Isabelle. (substitute poor for lazy) I can already hear my own inner dialogue: "Hmm, should I hike a couple miles in the dark and huff and puff up that final hill to Isabelle? Or should I roll out of my truck about 15 minutes before sunrise and shoot Long Lake?"

I agree, nice set. I prefer the first two -- not that there's anything wrong with the last one.

That first one takes the cake for me as well. Wonderful shot.

The first one is sooooo beautiful. That's the kind of shot that gives the viewer a slice of paradise to enjoy!
Nicely done Nick. The comps in 1 and 2 are very pleasing to the eye. Bit of motion blur in #3, but given the strong wind you did well to stop as much motion as you did.

Agree with the others that this is a nice set. #1 is icing on the cake though.
My kind of place, Nick! These are all excellent. I tried to find a way to incorporate this fallen tree and was never successful, but you sure did! Such wonderful light and color in the first two, and a beautiful scene in the third.

Nice stately compositions! The log really works well in the first image.
