Hello everyone. I've been lurking for the past few weeks and finally jumped into a membership. I had the opportunity to meet one of the forum moderators, Lon Sharp, at Custer Gold Discovery Days and Lon suggested this group to my wife and I. I have been a "serious amateur" since I picked up by wifes Fuji S6000. I purchased a D60 in 2008, went to a D80 (internal motor) in 2009 and have been going ever since. I've posted to the Fauna Gallery, already and would appreciate any input. I've got a long way to go, but after seeing Lon's work and visiting a local gallery of Tom Mangelsen's, I decided to join the NP group (all very inspirational).

Glad to see you have already posted an image. I have a been a member for 2 years, and only, just got the guts to post a photo a month, or so, ago!! I was really worried about posting with professionals, but I have learned so much!
