Sunflowers
Headed out to Longmont tonight. Thanks for the location, John! Just ran these through quickly, excuse the dust spots, etc.

It's been a while since I've had the chance to get out and take photos. Pulled up to this spot just in time. I always feel like I'm rushing! :jump:

I think your white balance needs a little tweak (these look like you were set on cloudy or shade, thus too yellowish-brown), but these are nice pics.

The first two are too scary for me (i feel like im about to be eaten), but i love the last one!

Isn't it a great field Charles, Sunflowers as far as the eye can see!. Looks like yesterday's rain may of beaten them around a little, I like the classic comp of #3!.

I get a feeling the last one might have a little tilt to it. But it's a sweet shot! One day I'll have to get out there to shoot these. Does anyone have sunrise images from there? It looks like the dynamic range of the scene would be easier to manage with the rising sun behind you.

Aleksandra, I have shot the field at sunrise, and yes it is easier to control exposure then. Just haven't quite timed it right with a decent sunrise sky yet!.

Nice Charles - I also liked the third one more. Pretty field out there.

3 then, 1, then 2. I really like the comp in #3!

Thanks, everyone. I blasted through the processing so I could post them. I need to work on them a little more. I hope I can get out there for sunrise on Saturday! Maybe I'll see a few of you there. There were five cars/cameras there the other night when I took these.
