Ouchhhh my tail is on fire..
Here's another from my recent evening Macro session. A bit later that evening and the sun has almost dissapeared.
Found a nice opening between some trees in the BG and this Common Blue in the foreground did the rest...

greetings,

Jeroen Stel

Looks more like a fire than the sun-either way its original and works well

Brilliant Jeroen, really different and technically spot on too - well balanced exposure. Also really like the way the grass stem is dropping out of focus towards the bottom, really artistic.

Nice detail in the butterly Jeroen but I do find the white lighting just a bit overpowering. :wavey:

I love this. The dramatic lighting really works for me. And I love the fading up from bottom oof and then into sharp plane in the middle and then out again at top in the fiery sky. Different, and damn good imho.
