Rural Hancock County, Indiana, one evening in June of this year. Cropped to semi-pano to eliminate some extraneous OOF barbed wire at the bottom of the frame. C&C always welcome.

Nicely composed, exposure looks about perfect. The only critique I have to offer is that the color in the sky looks slightly off BUT that may be because I'm viewing it on my less-than-stellar work computer, either way great shot.

Nice work Kerry. That's just down the road from me. A true Indiana scene!

Good stuff as always, Kerry. The blog is thought-provoking and worth a side-trip over there.

I agree with everything already said above, Kerry. The lighting is sublime and really makes this image special. Great composition and effective use of HDR. I have noticed from my own HDR work that the sky colors seem to shift for reasons unknown to me, and the only suggestion I have would be to play around a bit with the luminance in the sky colors if you think a bluer sky might help the sky color look a bit more natural. Either way, it is a small nit to a really super image!

I'm a sucker for barn images Kerry, and this is a sweet capture of a post card rural scene. What an idyllic scene. I can almost smell the grasses and field and warm country air. Thank you for sharing.

Wonderful(!!!). Only thing missing is the horse (which would detract from the image).
