to protect her identity her face has been blurred :wink:

The local colonies erupted the other afternoon, the aerial ballet, or combat as the males swooped and grabbed at the females was intriguing.

I saw a lot of flying ants the other day but didn't spot any of them mating. Interesting behaviour though not the best technically :smile: I don't know how co-operative they were being, but a side on view would have worked best I think.
