Willow warbler not on a stick
Willow warbler bathing. There have been dozens of these through this past week but this is a bout the first I,ve seen not in moult. Some of them look really scruffy. Legs look a bit dark but I am almost certain its a WW There are some great colours starting to appear so that's why I left the bird small to get the water colour and the circle of ripples.Woodland Pool

A shame you cut the bird's head off in the reflection, but still an excellent image, with beautiful shades of greens and the browns a hint of things to come, brrr.

Thanks all
The head was chopped off by the bank at the front of the pool. How I hate blasted reflections. They should be banned.!  :frown: :frown:   :argue: :argue: :jump: :jump:

I love the rings in the water, and the colour reflections are great. Great shot, and it is nice to see a willow warbler not on a stick.

Nice shot John not sure about the crop. Reflection do work John, but in the right place.

some nice colours and great ripple ring, personally I think a lower POV would have worked better on this particular shot, but you take what you can at the time - nice one

cheers

Super portrait and really like the colours and ripples through the water.
Reflections are fine. It's the front of pool banks that should be banned!
