...at least I THINK it's a reddish egret, although the color doesn't quite look right. This bird was quite a distance away, so it's not a very good image, but hopefully good enough for a positive ID. Could this possibly be a juvenile? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Drew. I should have mentioned that the bird did the characteristic wing dance a couple of times while I was watching. Unfortunately he was just too far away to get very good images.
