She looks a bit bad tempered to me. I don't envy her partner.   Just discovered this program http://www.ddd.com/cart/product.php?productid=10&cat=2&page=1. I will invest $49 and give it a go until I get my 3D camera set up going in a few weeks. Again this image cries out for the 3D treatment. you temptress you.

Not too sure about the black bit at the bottom though

Nice shot! Wish I had foxes near me...! Nice expression and lighting too.

Judging from your shutter speed it looks like you did well to get anything at all. I think portrait format is a good choice as focuses the viewers attention on the foxes expression, however, I'm not so keen on the composition with the legs being cut off half way, as they are. Perhaps including all of the front legs or going in even closer may be another option for any future encounters.

Thanks for the comments. Don't know how I got that black band Ian
Justin these are being taken at night through glass so no choice of shutter speed. Am using the 300mm f2.8 at the moment and need the fox to come into the artifically lit area so it is all proving quite a task. Glad of any helpful suggestions though.

I know Maggie, that's what I mean, you did well to get a usable image under such tricky conditions.
