Three falls...
...along Deadman's Creek, Sonora Pass, late afternoon. Preston and I hunkering down elbowing each other for tripod space, he with his 4x5, me with my little 'ol 35mm.

This looks nice, Reno. I really like the silver sheen and nice tones in the lower cascade. I would like to a little more in the immediate foreground in order to give the lower cascade more breathing room. The color and exposure are right on.

For Lon and Harley: This is East Falls.

It's hot here today: I am ready to go back up there...and I just might do it!

Reno,

This is lovely. And if Preston doesn't keep giving away all the secret spots, we won't have anything left! I hope he didn't tell you the "real" name of the meadows nearby...

You must have been able to zoom in on these three cascades because from what I can remember you would have to get wet to get these three together. But glad you did because I really like this. It has nice balance between the three cascades.

Nice little scene, Reno. I would agree with Preston's suggestion about a little more room at the bottom, but it works nicely as presented.

I compared it to my take and it looks like we were standing about in the same spot. You zoomed in on a tight take, I went wider and I was there at last light. It is a pretty little spot (despite the stench -  ).

Nice one, Reno. I like how you worked out the angle of view here on the three cascades.

Nice triple tier effect on the falls here.
