Doorway to the Lost Coast
This was taken in Mendicino County just below Sinkyone. I'm back up that way for a 2 to 3 night backpacking trip on the coast. Any of you ever stop at the Russian River Brewery just wondered if it was any good? Heard good things about it.

Neat image Steve the rock and arch in juxtaposition make an interesting pair. If that's the brewery I'm thinking of try the Old Rasputin Stout but be careful my friend it will knock you on your butt and keep you there its 12% alcholol it's actually Barleywine and was sold in 4 packs for a good reason.

Paul

Just wondering if this could line up for sunset light through the arch?

A striking image, Steve, and well rendered in B&W.

Steve,
Don't know about the brewery, but I like the shot. Very striking in B&W. Did you use a polarizer? Best Regards.

This is cool, Steve! I would have been tempted to shoot from a slightly lower angle so as to psition the rear stack a bit higher in the portal. The tones are striking, and I do like this composition.

Have fun on your next trip up there!

A very strong formation with this scene, Steve. The detail in the rock is exceptional too.

Cool scene and nice choice going B&W. I find the comp a little tight at the bottom, but can't tell what you had to work with. Have a great trip.
