There has been some great work posted here lately, classic scenes and beautiful shots, just because I don't comment doesn't meen I don't admire them all, I'll try to pick up the pace a little. My Colorado time will come the end of September, since I haven't posted anything lately thought I would share something from close to home.
Love the clean feel to this, Brad...the air is so clear it looks like you could see for many miles - composition is superb, as always.

Nice scene, Brad, the setting sun makes this shot. It sounds like you will be in Colorado the perfect time for the fall colors, can't wait to see you photos!
This is a beautiful image Brad. I am digging the warm pallette. The spot looks familiar, is this the area where you snagged some wildflower images in the spring?

Great shot as usual, Brad. Nice too see something from the Flint Hills again. I bet it was a nice quiet morning/evening? It seems many of us have been traveling this summer and posting some great shots. Your timing should be about perfect for fall in Colorado. I'm already jealous.

I just want to applaud the Kansas photographers for all the beauty they find in their state. We have driven across 70 many many times and I always thought Kansas was SO boring and why would anyone want to live there. But the last two days we have ridden our motorcycles across 54/50 from AR to Pueblo, CO and I must say it was a beautiful ride! I kicked back and settled in at about 70 and had a great time enjoying the open landscape and the blue blue skies. The wind was a little rough on the bike at times but overall it was a blast. I definitely have a new appreciation for your state!
