I need to pick up a new LCD, and I was wondering how many of you are using 2 monitors with Lightroom? Looks like it really has the potential to speed up workflow - especially while doing initial edits from a shoot.
I currently have a 24" Dell which is decent. So I'm trying to decide - one big monitor (27" most likely) or a couple of 24" screens? Or perhaps a 27" and then a smaller secondary? That may break the bank though!
Thanks for any suggestions!

I don't split Lightroom itself over two monitors, but I do use 2 monitors. It helps with multi tasking and general work flow.

The usefulness of two monitors in Lightroom is really why I keep that second one on much of the time. I'd go for a bigger primary, and keep your older one for the extended display.
I agree with Mel. I use two monitors and can move the single image over to the secondary but personally I don't find that helpful. I put Lightroom on my primary and use the secondary for other browser stuff. I also think the bigger the primary the better.
Thanks for the advice everyone. I must have misunderstood the dual monitor capabilities in Lightroom? I thought you could essentially have a Library / Grid view in the secondary monitor, and then have the main develop module on your primary display. This sounds really helpful to me - but I'm guessing that isn't quite the way it works since people are kind of lukewarm to the dual setup in LR.
