Hi everyone, I'm Geoffrey Baker from South Wales and I just joined today.

I already have a few well-known friends who post here and I've been viewing this forum for a few months now, looking at your amazing photos.

I'm happy to receive critique and I'm eager to learn.

I currently have quite basic equipment but I'm planning to upgrade to more respectable kit shortly.

This was taken through my living room window, hand held, the birds were on a feeding station about 3 metres from the glass.

Minolta 7D, Sigma 50-500 EX, 1/1000th second, f6.3, ISO 400, +0.3 stop exposure compensation, centre-weighted metering, 330mm with a crop off the bottom only.
