Little Owlet
Have known about this site for about a year thanks to a friend.Have been frequently visiting to see if I could catch a glimpse of a little owl that lives there.Sometimes I would see it but could never get a clear shot. Was delighted to see it had paired up and they had had little ones so managed a few shots.Light was a challenge as it always is there. Not as good as the stunning ones John put on but at least its a start for me, so hope to get better.

Canon 1DMK4, Canon 500f4L + 1.4 convertor, ISO 400, f8, 1/400

Even as little balls of fluff they manage to look mean and moody.
Well done Karen.

I wonder who this mysterious "friend" is, Karen? :wavey:

Glad you got some shots of Little Grump Jnr though - seeing them can be a bit hit and miss. I'm lucky in that I can pop down there any time for a look as they're so close by. I reckon there must be several others nesting in the area - just need to get up earlier to find them.
