Desert Light Show
Was up at Coal Mine Canyon in northern AZ for an evening and was lucky enough to catch a little lightning show after sundown. Unfortunately the storm was a bit distant and the real show was well off to the left where there was no interesting composition to the be had. Still, I was happy with this shot. The lightning was composited from 3 different exposures.

Even without lightning composite, shot is great.

Excellent composition! That lightning really adds to the subdued lighting in the canyon.

Yeah, that's fairly awesome. The comp is excellent, and the depth through the layers to the bolts is outstanding. Sweet sweet light.

What a great (twilight?) glow you captured there, and the lightning is the cherry on the cake.

Awesome shot, Guy! FWIW (not much...) i personally would prefer a few less lightning strikes, i think it would be more natural looking and i could relate to it more. Great stuff, regardless. :wavey:

Guy, you could not have asked for a much better show. Nice catch of the bolts and display of last fading light on the right rim!
