If you're like me and getting tired of the late summer doldrums and can't wait for fall.....

just remember that this is just around the corner.
Chase county falls summer and winter.
Everyone has been posting such great shots lately, I haven't been able to get out much due to a bum knee, so I found these on the hard drive. I thought it was an interesting contrast.
These are both great.....I like the 2nd one...It cooled me off

interesting comparison, Ken. I hope your knee gets better. Any idea how high the water is at the falls now?

Ken, hope you are able to get back in the field soon.
And yes to your point about late summer. It is triple digits here most of this month with far too much blue sky. Luckily the Hatch green chiles are in so I can eat well for the next couple of weeks while I wait for Labor Day when I can get out west.

Nice series Darren, all you need now is fall and summer to complete your set.

Nice shots, I really like the first one. I don't think I have seen that view of Chase County before.
Hope your knee is healing up.
I hate this time of year, really, really tired of the heat. Bring on Fall!
