Good stuff, Kurt! I wish I had a pika photo collection like yours. And it's great to see the shagginess of the goats seems to have passed.

Kurt, those pika shots are incredible. Great work! I love the light on that goat too.

What Morris said.
The half profile of the goat is superb, but I think it could use a couple of steps to make it really shine:
Try using 'AutoColor' and see what you think. I prefer the way the sky looks here, so consider masking it out afterward. Then select his eye and lift the middle of the Curve a bit to reveal a bit more color. You might even consider 'losing' the white dot on his coat.

Regardless, these are all excellent captures!

What Morris said. I have already looked at these several times and will go back for more later. Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful series Kurt. You're making good use of your 500mm.

I love #2 and #4. While they are totally different types of photos, I think #4 is my personal favorite. I actually like it just as shown here; to me the cool cast and lower contrast of the goat fits perfectly with the mood of the photo. I try to avoid anthropomorphism at all cost, but this dude sure looks like a wise old man of the mountain!

#2 says it all, time for lunch! Great stuff.

Really like this shot...the simple blue/black/white combination is stunning. I'm headed out in search of Mt. Goats this next weekend. Any suggestions for a destination that will lead me in the right direction?

#2 really stands out. Looks like this guy will have a great winter.

The goat portrait is really really really nice!

#2 is really nice. Would have liked a bit more DOF so the paws where in focus as well, but this one is really nice despite the nit. Would like to see the improved #4. Should be a killer.
