This is Five Mile Creek near the South Fork of the Stanislaus River in Tuolumne County. I made this in the spring on a morning trip out that way with Dan Ryan. There was some cloud cover, so the light was soft and subdued.

I very much like this Preston, maybe my favorite now of your images. Wonderful diffuse light that we who wander such intimate landscapes of green spring woodlands often hope for but uncommonly receive.
Not easy to find a nice straight shot of water like this one here, Preston. The long and narrow creek makes for an excellent subject. Very well captured scene.

Nicely done!
I am looking to making a larger print of this.
