Big Trees
This is a carpet of green clover I found in a grove of redwoods along the north coast. Had a great time wandering around the area, but found some of the exposures challenging. Its' a MF image, shot with 28mm. No filters, but a fair amount of section work in photoshop. All comments appreciated. Best Regards.

This is an interesting change to the usual shared scenery of the place.

Michael, the amount of green here is off the charts. Living in an arid region like So Cal one can get pretty excited when viewing a scene with this amount of greenery in it. I'm sure it takes a substantial amount of rainfall to keep everything this lush. A wonderful site.

Paul,
You're so right. I saw a lot of fog while I was up there, but that makes everything very green. More to come... Best Regards.

Very nice, Michael. Just curious, but when you say "Its' a MF image", is this from film, or digital? I like color of the clover; it's well saturated, but no overwhelming. I do think the trees are little on the green side, though. The composition is very nice.

I've been to the Redwoods several times, but never seen anything like
this. Most unique. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks, Murali

Great composition!! I find shooting in the redwoods very challenging because it is so "busy". It's difficult to find a simple composition that works. Nicely done.
