Wildflowers, Carson Pass, CA
Two weeks ago I photographed wildflowers
in the Carson Pass area. Having been there
before, I found this to be the best wild-
flower season I've ever seen there. This
image was during a sunrise walk near Frog
Lake. I appreciate your critiques and feed-
back.

Robert, really nice light and I like the layers of color and light. This works quite well!

Robert, this looks like the reworked image from the original ES&S post. Looks real good here with the crop and other adjustments that you might have made.

 Just got to Lone Pine an hour ago if anyone else is in town for a few days........see ya in the hills.

Good capture of the light at Carson. I was there three weeks ago and the flowers were great but I didn't get the early light. In fact I mostly had very strong bright light that really only worked well for close-ups with a diffuser.

If you want to see what I photographed or would like to see a plant list of what I ID'd go to http://naturalhistorywanderings.com/2010/08/01/carson-pass-detailed-wildflower-bloom-report/

Very nice, Robert. The light is wonderful. I agree with harley about the layers of color and light.

Robert,
Wonderful image. Great color and light. I like the way you've composed the scene, with the snag and the bg forest. Really works well. Best Regards.
