After wishing and wanting to move to Colorado for many years, our dreams are finally coming true I start a new job in Grand Junction, Colo. on 9/1 and will be moving a load from our house out there this weekend. We're VERY excited!! There are so many places to explore out in the GJ area, and we can't wait to get started. I also just happen to be getting out there right before fall foliage starts going. How fortunate
I've enjoyed "meeting" you through this forum, whether in person or on line. I'll definitely still be lurking around to see the beautiful images of Kansas, which will always hold a special place in my heart. Be sure to check over in RMNP every now and again to see if I've posted anything. See you around

Good luck with your new life in Grand Junction. Viewing your images is always a pleasure. Take care, and don't be a stranger here :).

I've always said that the best way to take a beautiful picture is to stand in front of something beautiful and take it's picture. As a landscape photographer, it is just harder in Kansas or Oklahoma. Not impossible, but.....
Congratulations on your move. I envy you.

Hey Angela, Congrats on your move. I know you've been looking for some time and now it all comes to fruition. It has been great meeting and talking with you. We had fun in the Flint Hills and were just as cold on the Burr Oak shoot.
Have fun and I know you will measure up to the many excellent shooters in the Rocky Mountain Group..

Angela,
I don't know what your vocation is but I had a new client come from Grand Junction. The economic news from here was NOT good.
Apparently a tough economy there. But, that could be heresay.
Hope you do well. I've enjoyed your posts.

As Rod Roddy would say, "Angela Classen, COME ON DOWN!" GJ is a great location. It's a little hot (a little hot?) in the summer, but that's when you head to the hills. But geez, spring, fall and winter within striking distance of Moab, Colo. Natl. Monument, Dinosaur, etc., should keep you busy while us Front Rangers are biding our time.

Best wishes Angela. If you want a little excitement just drive from south to north on the road across Colorado National Monument. Talk about being on the edge.
