After a long day of backpacking California's most remote section of coastline the sun finally came out as it dipped between fog banks. The light only lasted a few minutes so I was able to catch a few different compositions before it end abruptly. I usually try to add a little more to my seascapes then the usual sunset color, rocks and surf.
Steve, have you noticed how foggy its been this summer? Makes broader seacapes more challenging. I actually find myself being drawn to the cliffs in the URC, with the interplay of light and fog. Thanks for sharing. Best Regards.

A most unusual find and certainly appropriately titled.
Not sure about your question about tweaking the colors, Steve. I would think the cyan/blue in the water to be slightly strong, but the others look OK to me.

What is it about the color you think could be bette? Whatever you do will have to be done without altering the fg it's just about perfect, maybe just the slightest too greenish yellow ( I think it's eelgrass ina mixed sand and rock intertidal zone) but other than that I just don't know. I'm used to the more muted darker colors of the So Cal tidepools, I've only been tidepooling up north a few times and the algae species up there are much more richly colored.

It must be the blues on the right from the polarization and some of the greens.

Michael, yes it's been very foggy this year. I've skunked on every visit to Big Sur this year. Must be the El Nino after effects.
