This week's pick in Flora was Gary Yeoh'sCascade. The image was chosen for its unusual perspective and interesting composition as well as the natural beauty portrayed. Nearly half of the images in the gallery for the week were seriously considered for the weekly pick and rather than cite them individually, I'd encourage you to go to the gallery and take a look. I do want to mention some images that struck me as being particularly original and creative though: These included Carol Hyman'sIn Search of Summer, John and Patty Benway'sRiver Lily, Wayne Willison'sAstromeria and Dean Sauskojus'Dune Delight. These were not only accomplished images but struck me as being particularly interesting for some unusual aspect of photographic vision, composition, photographic technique or post processing. Thanks to all of you who participated. May your sensors be free of dust.

I can see why the task of selecting just one from a stack of super duper photos is so daunting, Pat . Flora is full of some spectacular and unique photos this season. Kudos to all.
