I finally took the plunge and started a website utilizing the incredible design and software talents of Jesse Speer and Jack Brauer. I can't recommend them enough. If you get a chance I would welcome any comments! All design credit goes to these guys and complaints about the images go to me! Thanks for looking. http://www.edfuhr.com
Under the Journal link I have just posted a few photos from my trip last week to the Tetons, including the one here There was one great thunderstorm and a brief moment or two of color that made it all worthwhile!

Nice pallete and layout, Ed. I like the background image too. I'm not sure I'm a fan of the menu hover and highlight block. It seems obtrusive to the subtlety of the background and slideshow/galleries.
It's nice to see another wide range production - always quality work. I'm going to have to give in and consult with them someday.
Site looks great, Ed. Jack & Jesse do amazing work. Your photos look fantastic on the site and I like the clean design. I agree w/ Kalin re: the menu hover/highlight block, though. Minor nit of an otherwise outstanding site. Congrats!
Really nice Ed, that was very enjoyable to browse through! I like the journal format, and I like the large size of your gallery thumbnails. No real criticisms from me, it's a clean, attractive and easy-to-navigate site, and it's full of beautiful photos.

It looks like you have all your bases covered, especially since you went with Jack and Jesse. Everything works easily and the photos are gorgeous. I especially loved the black bear cubs climbing the tree, sweet shot!
Nice drama in #1 and great color in #2. Another wonderful job by the best in the business at web design. I can only hope I can utilize their genius someday.
Many, many thanks guys for all the comments. I have wanted for a very long time to create a site but never liked my options until I came across Jesse and Jack's services through Widerange. I cannot recommend them enough. My only worrisome moment was seeing Jack's blog postings when he was skiing down some avalanche in Washington before we had finished!! I was ready to helicopter in for a rescue! Thanks again for the comments and the inspiration so many here provide on a daily basis with your outstanding work.

Hi Ed, I'm glad you're liking your new site! (I like the white blocks ) Oh, and there were no avalanches in WA! Just some long dreamy descents down a few volcanos!
Your Oxbow Bend shot is amazing.
