Thousand Island Lake Panorama
I used the new content aware fill feature in CS5 to fill in the gaps of what the pano merge couldn't fill. Saved me a lot of time trying to paint it all in. Bush removal, no extra cost.

You can see the old version of what I had waiting in the hard drive doing nothing for way too long.

Nice work, Steve! Man, what a gorgeous spot, and you nailed some nice light! It is one of the all-time greats! John Muir didn't call the Sierra the "Range of Light" for nothing!

The larger pano is simply stunning, Steve. When I first came across the CS5 Content Aware feature months back when it was in beta one could immediately see the amazing support it could provide during processing sessions, this finished image is a very fine example of that use. Very nice work Steve all the way around. Obviously, the field work and being there has got to be the highlight of this capture overall. :toast:

Beautiful spot and beautiful image. I have been there many times and this is a very sweet rendition of the place.

Hey Steve. What are you using for the pano merge? I use AutoPano and have never had a problem with missing information.

Great color and well composed following the "rule of thirds", and good placement
of the moon. Thanks for sharing, Steve.

Steve,
This is just an excellent image. Hard to imagine the light being any better and the pano composition really is done to perfection. Thanks for sharing. Best Regards.

Thanks guys!

Richard, if you see the old version there was some cropping that would of had to have been done for what the camera didn't take in due the wide angle. I wasn't really missing info, it just helped to be able to add info that the camera didn't catch. I'm using CS5 for panos but it's pretty much the same as CS3 & 4.
