Well, my computer is back up and running :) The problem is that my drive crashed and some of the large format work I have done as of late was not backed up. So I am reworking several images scanning them and working them up. Not a bad thing as I have more knowledge that I did the first time I worked them. So, I can now start sharing some images
This one was taken late summer on top of Elk Mtn in the Wichita Mtn NWR. The conditions were great with fog rolling in and out and lifting to revel some light on Charon Gardens which you see as the vally floor.
Anyway, glad I can now share some work with you all

Brent, I like the rich warm color of the foreground rocks set against the cool misty colors of the fog. The tree shrouded in the fog and the hint of what the valley holds is a really nice combo.
On a really subtle observation, the leftmost rock almost seems to have a tree imprinted in it, complete with trunk, branches and blooms! I don't know, maybe I'm just seeing things!
At any rate, I really like what you've done here, thanks for posting!

I like this, Brent - nice mysterious qualities and abstract shapes. One consideration for this particular image is to try out a black and white version - it's nearly there anyway.
Wayne - what are you putting in your coffee? Oh wait, I can sort of see it too. (Hmmm - what's in my coffee?)
Brent - please, back up DAILY!!! (if not more often)

I must get some of that RUM. I see nothing. leftmost rock, do you mean in the shadow dark area? Above it? Copy the image and put a pointer where you see it, I would like to see this. Maybe my juice is not as good as yours :)
Thanks everyone. I will look at the conversion.

Man you have some funky things going on there. I see slightly what you do now. I would love to have your vision sometimes. :)

Thanks Tim, you nailed it! Just exactly where I saw the "tree"!
Given the fact that I have been under the weather the last couple of days (and dizzy) I thought maybe I was seeing things . . . .
