Snake River Overlook Sunset
Finally started processing some images from a July 4th trip to the Tetons and Yellowstone. Had a very nice sunset one evening at the Snake River Overlook. The colors in person were wonderful. Had to attempt to blend three images to get a reasonable overall exposure. Found that to be a bit tricky. Any comments and critique is most welcome.

Wow, I've only ever been at this spot for sunset maybe half a dozen times over a 5-year period and I've yet to take advantage of light like this. Excellent photograph in every way, comp, light, and color. For a three exposure blend, this is indeed excellent processing. It looks very natural, and not at all overdone. Nice job all the way around!

You blend looks great to me. I can't really see any evidence. Great shot!

This is a perfect example of why this is an icon. What a great view, and you had a wonderful sunset. Your blend looks excellent on my monitor. Well done.

When this location works it is truly magic even as those pines keep on growing! I love the color above as well as in the river itself. Great job!

Beautiful shot, Kipp. I wouldn't mind if you coaxed a little more detail out of the trees, but I can also take it as is and be pretty stoked if it were mine.
