This is my first post on this forum. I have been watching it for a whiel and the shots are stunning. I am fifteen and this is a shot of a Greenshank taken about two weeks ago at Rutland Water. It looks a bit soft to me now, althouhg it was sharp at full size.....

Nikon D300s
Sigma 50-500 f4-6.4
Manfrotto Tripod and 393 Head
1/400s
F8.0
ISO640

Very nice composition.
Regarding the softness this method works for me on web images:

Resize the original unsharpened image to 720 px.
Convert to sRGB - this dulls the picture a little
Increase the saturation +20ish to bring the punchiness back.
Unsharp mask sharpen at amount 100%; radius 0.2; threshold 0 - apply this stage another 4 times to the image.
Save for web

Hope this helps.

Welcome Oscar nice shot to start with just a tad more sharpening and a bit more punch, I am sure you will get to grips with it when I first started posting my images were to soft, so with advice on here you soon know how far to go, I don t think you can post up another image on this post unless you are a member
