Hello:
I am looking for a good comfortable wrist strap for my Canon 5D,5D Mark ll and 7D that can be used with a batter grip and RRS L Plate.

Thank you!

Check out the wrist straps made by Clik Elite. They're cheap and they work really well. Here's a link: http://www.clikelite.com/shop/wrist-strap/

I have an Op-Tech wrist strap that I use with my G10 http://optechusa.com/slr-wrist-strap.html. It has a connector that allows its easy removal on those occasions when you don't want/need it. It leaves only a very short strap with half the buckle.

I've never bought a commercially made wrist strap although all my cameras have one. I use a length of thin, colored climbing rope or a thin flat web strap material that will fit in the slot on the camera, and make it just the length I need. It rarely bears any weight (except when I yank my camera out of my bag by it) and it's mostly insurance since my hand is always on the grip.

I've always used Kalt straps...priceless insurance, comfort and accessibility. Adjusted right your hand hanging down by your side will hold the camera without having to GRIP the body. Good points.

I've used Canon's E1 strap and it's comfortable, but it's not a wrist strap like the Click Elite above... this one actually holds your hand against the camera. I don't have a vertical grip but I came across the Opteka mount that screws into the tripod socket to hold the other end of the strap. That works fine until you go to use a tripod.
